La ceremonia número 93 de los Premios de la Academia, presentada por la Academia de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas (AMPAS), honrará las mejores películas estrenadas entre el 1 de enero de 2020 y el 28 de febrero de 2021. Se estará realizando en la ciudad de Los Ángeles, EEUU entre el Dolby Theatre y el Union Station, el 25 de abril de 2021, dos meses después de lo planeado originalmente, debido al impacto de la pandemia de COVID-19 en el cine .
Las nominaciones se anunciaron el 15 de marzo de 2021, donde destaca con 10 nominaciones Mank bajo la dirección de David Fisher la favorita de la noche, seguida con las de 6 nominaciones como The Father, Judas And The Black Messiah, Minari, Nomadland, Sound Of Metal yThe Trial Of The Chicago 7.
