MTV reveló la lista de los nominados a los Video Music Awards (VMAs) del 2020, que se celebrará el 30 de agosto de 2020 en el Barclays Center de Brooklyn, New York, EEUU.

A pesar del brote de coronavirus, la gala deberá cumplir con los protocolos sanitarios para evitar posibles nuevos contagios, además se limitará la asistencia al recinto y se tendrá que acatar el distanciamiento social.

Las nominaciones están lideradas por Ariana Grande y Lady Gaga con nueve cada una, seguidas de Billie Eilish y The Weeknd con seis nominaciones respectivamente, y Taylor Swift con cinco.

Las votaciones para apoyar a tu artista favorito estarán abiertas hasta el 23 de agosto de 2020 a través de vma.mtv.com. Para esta nueva edición se crearon dos nuevas categorías «Mejor Vídeo Desde Casa» y «Mejor Actuación De Cuarentena«.
